Serving Northern California's Sacramento Metropolitan area and its lakes, delta and rivers.

Sacramento Power Squadron, the eighth squadron of District 25, was chartered in 1962. Our civic duties include providing Basic Boating Safety Classes to the public, working in cooperation with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary to do Vessel Safety Checks, and working with NOAA to provide updates to nautical charts.

We have meetings with featured guest speakers who provide informative and entertaining talks on a variety of nautical subjects. We also schedule rendezvous and other boating activities for our members and their guests.
